Well, after 20 years our old roof gave out. We checked into about 15 different roofing companies and eventually had about 10 come out and give us an estimate. The companies ranged from a two man crew to one that employed multi-hundreds … More people across the country. The estimates ranged from $13,000 to $61,000 with anywhere from one day to a couple of weeks to complete. We eventually selected Dover Roofing to remove the old shingles and replace them with new GAF asphalt shingles. We could not be any more pleased with Dover Roofing and their entire team. From Ryan who gave us a very detailed estimate, to Savannah, to the entire removal/installation unit (10 very conscientious people) and Tyler, the big boss! Everyone was the epitome of “old school service and job dedication” and strived to see the work was done right. Dover Roofing’s prices are very reasonable. He came out the following week, measured the roof and gave me an estimate on the spot. The price was good and we started the process. Tyler called and gave me some days they would come over and work on the roof replacement (pending weather). He called me the next day and said the team was on their way over, it was 3PM at that point. I figured it would be a long night for them because as you can see in the pictures, the old roof was pretty old and rough. 12 people showed up, and within 3 hours the roof was done. Not only was it done but it looked amazing.
His team even went around with a giant magnet and removed any possible nails or other metal that fell into the grass so my son and dog would not step on them, they did this on their own!
I was blown away how efficiently his team worked, as the roof was pretty old and the plywood underneath was bad. His team did an amazing job and just wanted to say thanks again!
